Crayon Rocks - 16 pieces
Crayon Rocks were developed by Barbara Lee, inspired by her work with children. A community-based business based in Hestand, Kentucky, USA, the crayon wax is made from organic soy beans grown by local farmers and coloured with mineral pigments. The crayons are then made in a small factory and packed by hand in small batches.
A set of 16 pebble-shaped crayons in pastel and primary colours in a drawstring bag. Sustainably made from natural organic soy wax, the ergonomically designed crayon rocks are excellent for young children, or anyone who has difficulty maintaining a pencil grip.
Encouraging the development of fine motor skills and preparing young children’s hands for a relaxed pencil grip in later life, the crayons are easy to use, versatile and practical. They come packaged in a cotton-muslin storage bag for safe keeping, and can be used on paper, wood, stone and even fabric.
